UK-based packaging design agency Holmes & Marchant has finished the new project for the Spanish Winery Freixenet. They designed the luxury image of a premium Cava, including the naming, concept, bottle shape, graphics and the choice of materials.
The Cava called Elyssia (from Greek “Elysium” – “Heaven”) is to reflect the idea of the ‘happiness in heavens’.
The label is much smaller than those normally found on wine or Cava, and uses rich and sensuous materials. The ribbon that joins the label to the neck is smooth and reassuringly states that the product is made using the the traditional method.
